About Me

I'm currently a Masters of Information Studies student at McGill University. I love to learn new things, both in and outside of the classroom. A good day for me would involve tackling new problems and getting a grasp on something new that I've discovered.

In my personal life, I'm a total hobby collector. I enjoy getting introduced to the basics of hobbies like houseplants, aquariums, cross-stiching, and model kits. I also adore listening to podcasts, No Such Thing as A Fish is one of my favourites! If you don't catch me doing one of those things, then I'm probably playing one more turn in Civilization VI.

Versatility

I'm an avid learner of many things. Sometimes I'll learn things for fun, and other times it's for work, but whatever it is, I don't shy away from a new software. Here's just a few of the programs I've picked up along the way: Power BI, MailChimp, RPG Maker MV, Gather.Town, Tiled, GIMP, SAS EG, JASP, Arena, LDraw, LDCAD, Anki, Zotero, and more!

Event Operations

For over three years I was involved in the Concordia Canadian Asian Society, a university cultural organization. As VP Events, and later the Co-President, I've had the pleasure of planning innovative events for hundreds of participants, while managing budgets, resources, and a team of eight Event Coordinators.
